Father to a lovely/stubborn daughter, and captain/founder of the Roman Tour Guide Football (soccer for the Americans) team, Dario has been doing this since 2013, and is an expert on all things Rome and its surroundings.
He’s funny & knowledgeable, and loves to share the beauty of his native city with his guests. This might include history, art, mythology & religion, cuisine, ITALY in the general sense, and he can take you through museums, churches, and archeological sites, in and around Rome.
Dario estimates he’s given thousands of tours at the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums. That said, his favourite place to take visitors is the Pantheon – a unique and magical place.
In his time off, he is busy fathering away at full-tilt, and keeping himself up to date on all the new archeological discoveries in Rome. It can be hard to imagine in a city so defined by its archeological sites that more new marvels are constantly being uncovered, but this is of course the case.
Dario is also an accomplished amateur singer who has appeared several times on Norwegian TV & radio. Needless to say, in addition to his considerable academic ability, he can also be quite the entertainer. (Are you not entertained, already?)
As required, private transportation can be arranged, and of course, many Roman restaurant suggestions can be provided.
