Specialising in art, gastronomy, wine, and Jewish Heritage in Florence & Tuscany, Eleonora, or Ele (El-lay) is our resident expert in taking guests to lesser-known places in Tuscany where you can spend time with works by famous artists without the crowds.
With degrees in both renaissance and medieval art, Ele has also toured for years at the Synagogue of Florence, and would love to show a side of Tuscany which you probably never knew existed.
Much of modern tourism involves set itineraries to the same places that everyone else visits, and for the repeat visitor to Florence or Tuscany, Ele is your chance to experience a much quieter and more gentle version of these magical landscapes. A former footballer of more than twenty years, Ele has now hung up her boots for yoga practice instead.
Her time off is spent reading and learning more about Tuscany, hiking in the mountains, and enjoying the silence of some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. She loves to share her home and its wonderful surroundings with her guests, including introducing them to specialist local artisans according to what their interests are, and believes that food and wine are better tasted and experienced rather than talked about too much...
As necessary, transport can be arranged, museums & sites can be booked, and suggestions for dining and shopping can be provided.
