A nationally-acclaimed poet & working archeologist on many of the sites you’ll wish to visit with her, Josephine is an Athenian expert philosopher-historian who can regale you with Greek mythology in the context of our modern lives.
She can show you the full breadth and richness of Athenian life, from history, museums, and archeology, bringing literature, cuisine, art, gardens, and Jewish heritage into the conversation along the way.
Deeply inspired by the words of the ancients, Josephine can happily take you on a multi-day trip across Greece to come closer to their world. To Delphi (a particular favourite tour of hers to give), or Marathon, Epidaurus, or Delos, just to name a few examples of places she’s worked on as a site-archeologist.
Count on Josephine’s commentary along the way on the natural landscapes you will travel through, and the deep connection that these sites have with mythology, astronomy, and the ancients’ approach to science and their perception of their environment.
She is the proud owner of a fox-lookalike dog named Lilly, and a scooter, both of which contribute heavily to her day-to-day joy living in Athens.
In her own words: “the line is thin between what I find thrilling, and others might find dull, so I leave the rest for when I have captured a bit of the tastes and interests of my guests, just for the sake of surprise!"

As required, transport can be arranged, accommodations suggested, a plethora (from the Greek, plethos, for ‘a great number’) of restaurants, and of course perhaps a few connections to olive oil spots, or rooftop bars are not out of the question.
