Born in a Russian community in Paris and raised in France, Lisa has lived in Munich, Amsterdam, and ended up speaking 5 languages more than fluently.
Having travelled personally & professionally all her life, she decided to move to New York City within six months of her first visit.
Guiding for 25 years, Lisa is a highly-professional NYC ambassador with a love and passion for sharing her findings and experiences with others.
She loves the combination of old New York with the pace of the more futuristic sides of the city, and can walk you through culture, history, Art Deco, lifestyle, architecture, and street art through the different neighbourhoods of the five boroughs. And of course, she can introduce you to the melting pot of NYC’s incredible breadth of culinary offerings, from street food to world-class dining.
Lisa is fond of Paris, Rome, and London, but her love for New York in particular is a product of the neverending mix of cultures, nationalities, styles, colorful personalities, and stark contrasts that make up its unique identity.
Part of this extends to the way that no matter how many times you have visited, or how long someone has lived there, there are always new, exciting, and surprising places to discover.
She specialises in highly personalised tours, happily taking guests off-the-beaten-path, and exploring the diversity, the creative energy and the unexpected and funny sides of this ever-changing city.
As required, private car & driver can be arranged, restaurant suggestions of all sorts, and can help with almost all bookings of all sorts as well as give advice about shows, though she does not pre-book these for guests.
