M A R C O

A field biologist, birdwatching specialist, and absolute delight of a human being, Marco can take you almost anywhere in Italy. He is also a cultural expert, but is probably happiest if you let him show you all of Italy’s most magnificent ornithological specimens and other fauna!
Based in Arrezo, Marco has been taking visitors on outdoor experiences for more than two decades. He spends much of his life in natural landscapes, in boots, with a backpack on, sporting a pair of high-end binoculars and a spotting scope. His expertise covers a vast array of birds and other wildlife across the entire length and breadth of Italy.
He creates and plans trips primarily focussing on birds, wildlife, and their environments, but like any self-respecting Italian, he understands more than a little of the Italian peninsula’s considerable culinary gifts to the world.
Here’s your man if you’d like a nature adventure, great or small. Visit the bucolic Italian countryside in all its glory, hike mountain trails or along lakes and lagoons, and know that Marco lives to help people have meaningful experiences with nature.
Whether it’s a day or two, or a longer trip covering more time and more space, look to him to help make some memories that you’ll keep for a lifetime.
If you encourage him, he will also hold you spellbound with tales of thousands of years worth of local culture, history, and traditions, all woven into each of Italy’s regions.
Birds. Lots of birds. And animals of all sorts.
As required, transport can be arranged, sites booked, and restaurants chosen and arranged.
